Reykjavik is a low line with one tall thing in it, and that one thing is drawn as a slope rather than a tower. The buildings around it are small and stay small.

What is in the drawing

A tented pavilion and squared blocks open the left, low and evenly spaced. A church with a steep pitched roof and a slender spire follows, then a stubby tower under a lantern cap. The centre belongs to the great church: a spire at the top with raked wings stepping down on both sides in a comb of narrowing verticals. Past it a long building runs under a pitched roof with arcaded windows, and an onion dome closes the right.

Who buys it

Stopover flights turned this into a city a lot of Americans have actually stood in, usually for two days between other places. The church is the one building all of them photographed.

Mug or canvas

This lands on 2.143, which is the ceramic proportion exactly, so the print area fills with nothing to spare either way. Ink at 0.099 keeps the comb of verticals in the church wings readable as separate strokes. Those wings are the reason to look past 18 by 12 on canvas.
