Fort Worth is dense with detail, and the reason is that the artist drew the arcades. Almost every low building here has its windows in, which is unusual in this range.
What is in the drawing
Two tall slabs open the left, each cut by a pair of narrow slots that run nearly their full height, standing on a base scalloped along the bottom. The roofline steps down through a small building with a peaked gable and arched windows, then a plain box, then a wider block with a shallow hipped roof. The courthouse holds the middle: a lantern spire on a stepped clock tower, raised above a gabled front whose whole lower edge is a row of pointed arches. Past it a long hall runs on square piers with a jagged parapet, and the right end climbs into two towers with deep notches cut into their crowns and a slim block closing on the base line.
Who buys it
Fort Worth is bought by people who are tired of being called Dallas, and the courthouse is the shape that settles the argument. It sells as a hometown piece to a wide older buyer, and the drawing is detailed enough that the big canvas gets chosen more often here than for the plainer Texas cities.

At 11oz the arch rows compress into a grey band and only the clock tower stays legible, while at 30 by 20 you can count the arches.
