Delhi ends on a building drawn as a cluster of overlapping petals opening outward, and stands a fluted tower with bands round it a little to its left. Neither shape repeats anywhere else.
What is in the drawing
A wide stepped arch opens the left, solid and low. A mosque follows, a large onion dome between two smaller ones above a front of tall pointed arches, minarets standing at both ends. The fluted tower rises past it, tapering through several banded stages. A small domed kiosk sits low. The petals come next, curved and overlapping into a rough cone, and a fine spire closes the right.
Who buys it
An extremely large diaspora buys this, alongside people who travelled through once. Petals and dome separate those two audiences almost perfectly. Diwali is the season.
