Aarhus repeats one idea across its width: a wide roof pitched like a marquee with a fringe of small scallops hanging along its edge. Two of them sit either side of the church.
What is in the drawing
A narrow slab and low blocks open the left. The first tented roof follows, broad and shallow with its fringe drawn in small hanging curves. The church rises at the centre, a fine spire above a stepped gable front. A second tented roof spreads past it, wider than the first. Two towers with banded pointed caps stand beyond, then a third, and a plain modern slab closes the right.
