Everything in Mecca sits low except the one tower, which is drawn tall enough to take a third of the height on its own and carries a crescent at the very top of the line.
What is in the drawing
A low triangle opens the left with a long diagonal drawn straight across it. A square block follows on an arcade, a clock tower standing up from it, capped with a crescent on a finial above a small round face. A long low wall runs on from there, arcaded end to end, with two thin banded minarets rising over it. A low block with small arches follows. Past it stands a dome on a square base. Slabs finish the line at several heights, one of them flaring out at the cap.
Mug or canvas
Long, at 2.526 against a ceiling of 2.14, so the width sets the size and the crescent keeps clear air above it. Coverage 0.086 is on the light side, though the arcaded wall is close-ruled, so 24 by 16 or more.
