Hollywood is the only drawing in this catalog where a landform arcs across the whole width above the buildings rather than sitting beside them. The hill is drawn first and the city is fitted underneath it.
What is in the drawing
The hill enters low on the left, climbs in one long unbroken curve over everything and comes down again at the far right, and every building sits inside that arc. Beneath it the line runs through blocks and slabs of moderate height, several of them scored with short zigzags, with one taller flat-topped tower a little left of centre. Nothing under the hill reaches it, and the gap between the roofline and the curve is most of the picture.
Who buys it
This sells to people who moved out to work in the business and to people who visited once, and the second group is larger. It is bought for a first apartment more than for a family home, and the name does as much of the work as the drawing.
