Peoria gives a full third of its width to a bridge that never rises much above the ground line, so the eye travels a long way before reaching anything tall.
What is in the drawing
Two tall slabs stand together at the far left. The bridge runs beside them, two slim towers with the cables slung low between them and a long deck below. Past the bridge the line climbs into gabled roofs and pointed peaks of roughly equal height, and a tall slab with a sloped crown closes the right.
Who buys it
This sells to people whose families worked the machinery plants and to people who left for Chicago. Everybody has driven over that bridge, and it is the part they point at.
Mug or canvas
Ink of 0.050 is light, and the long flat bridge is why: it covers ground without covering area. The frame is 2.503 to 1 and ceramic wraps it. The cables are thin and sit low against the deck, so if the bridge is the point, take the 24 by 16 canvas rather than the mug.
