College Station is drawn as a low town with two tall slabs pushed into the middle of it, and the two things that give it away are at opposite ends: a water tower on the left and a domed pavilion on the right.
What is in the drawing
A small spired turret opens the far left, then a long low building with a flat roof running most of the way to the centre. A water tower stands beside it, drawn as a shallow bowl balanced on a single thin stalk. Blocks step up behind, one notched across its top, and two tall plain slabs rise together as the highest point. The line comes down through a low block and closes on a pavilion under an onion dome sitting on a wide flat base.
Who buys it
This is a graduation piece and a game-day piece, and it moves in May and in the autumn rather than evenly. The water tower is what former students point at, because it is the shape you see from the highway before anything else.
Mug or canvas
The proportion is 2.405 to 1, past the 2.14 a mug prints, so the drawing travels the whole way round, which parts the water tower from the dome by putting the handle between them. Ink is 0.059. If those two shapes are the reason for buying it, a canvas keeps them in one view and 24 by 16 is enough.
