What is in the drawing
Cathedral spires open on the left above a run of low roofs. A ribbed tower shaped like a bullet stands next, its horizontal bands drawn one after another up the curve. A squared arch follows, plain and wide. Then the Sagrada Familia takes the centre completely, four tapering towers over a steep arched front, with the line dipping into each opening. A slim spire and a hotel curved like a sail finish the right.

Anyone who has queued for the basilica recognises it instantly, which is most people who have been. It also works for the architecture reader who wants Gaudi on a wall without a photograph of scaffolding.
