Buenos Aires is drawn in three parts that read as one sweep: a domed government building, a bridge, and the towers behind it. The bridge is what holds the composition together.
What is in the drawing
The congress building opens on the left, a ribbed dome over a lantern with arcaded wings running out on both sides. A tower with an angled crown rises beside it, then a plain slab. The bridge takes the middle, one mast leaning hard with its cables drawn as straight rays down to the deck. Downtown towers stack up past it, a flag on a pole among them, a small dome, and a pedimented theatre front closes the right.
Who buys it
Tango holidays and long South American trips feed this, and so does a large Italian and Spanish descended diaspora who visit family. The congress dome is the half they photograph.
