Stone runs the whole width here. Lisbon is drawn almost entirely in fortification and masonry, with no glass tower anywhere in it, which makes it one of the older looking pieces in the range.
What is in the drawing
The crenellated river tower stands by itself at the left, banded across its height. A low quay runs from its foot. A gatehouse with two pointed turrets comes next, then a battlemented block whose merlons are drawn as small squares along the top. Near the middle a pavilion sits under a peaked roof above an arcade. A thin spire and a plain slab follow, and the aqueduct closes it, arch after arch stepping away to the right edge.
Who buys it
Lisbon has become a city people move to rather than only visit, so this reaches both the holiday buyer and somebody whose son or daughter now lives there. The aqueduct is the half most visitors never see, which pleases the ones who did.
